We’ve gotten Legends-class Bumblebees before, officially and unofficially. But far, far fewer of those were in fact Legends scale. What’s the difference? Check out these photos from the Newage Weibo page and you’ll see: this Bumblebee is 6cm (about 2.3 inches) tall in robot mode, and only 2.7cm (around an inch) wide in vehicle mode! The number of choices in scoring that movie Optimus Prime that matches your aesthetic preferences has really been growing lately. Among the unofficial choices is Challenger from Unique Toys, representing Optimus Prime as he appeared in Age of Extinction and The Last Knight. The robot mode is noted to be around 11 inches tall, and it comes with a number of optional faces and weapons. The truck mode looks pretty good too, at least from the angles they’ve chosen to show it right now. You can check out the full assortment of photos below.
In an odd move, Badcube has posted on Facebook debuting color images of Steamroll and Recon, their try at making Masterpiece-styled Sideswipe and Red Alert. The two have some evident cosmetic differences from the official Masterpieces, and they’re called out for extras like silicone tires, but whether that’s enough at this point to prompt collectors to replace the genuine articles is questionable. Here’s some images of the new Studio Series Grimlock upgrade kit that DNA Design has shared via their Weibo page! The set includes new weapons for Age of Extinction Grimlock, including his trademark gigantic mace.
